Special Containment Procedures:
SCPA-EN-00280 is to be contained in a soundproof chamber at Site-██, which shall be built with no less than 40-cm-thick reinforced concrete. The chamber is to be constantly monitored by no less than three (3) Level 4 personnel via closed-circuit cameras or in person. No living being is allowed to enter SCPA-EN-00280's containment area without proper soundproof equipment. In case of any sudden breach of containment, all acoustic equipment or any structure that can generate sound louder than 40 dB must be immediately disabled, and all personnel inside the containment chamber is to exit the room and soundproof doors should be shut down.

Description:
SCPA-EN-00280 is a choir composed of human figures, each of which has no mouth. The choir is capable of producing vocalizations through a method of unknown origin. SCPA-EN-00280 is capable of generating sounds of loudness ranging from 120 dB to deafening levels greater than 260 dB. SCPA-EN-00280 can also manipulate its vocalizations to make it sound like it is coming from all directions at once or produce sounds that penetrate through any barrier.

Subjects that hear SCPA-EN-00280's vocalizations experience anomalous effects that include temporary or permanent hearing loss, dizziness, disorientation, and severe headaches. After prolonged exposure, the subject will become unable to hear any sound other than scp-EN-00280's vocalizations.

Since SCPA-EN-00280 is incapable of communication with any known language, it's unclear what its motive or intention is.

Additional Information:
SCPA-EN-00280 was first discovered in a small village in South America, where reports of inexplicable auditory problems and correlative mass hysteria were reported. Foundation operatives were sent to the site and were able to establish containment without any significant problem. Scp-EN-00280 did not show any hostility towards personnel until its second week in Foundation custody - it generated vocalizations that caused a complete loss of hearing to seven (7) researchers and caused minor structural damage to the containment chamber.
