Description:
SCPA-EN-00046 is a black theatrical mask of a smiling face, approximately 25 cm x 20 cm. When SCPA-EN-00046 is worn by a subject and the subject stands in front of a mirror, the mask will change to resemble the face of the individual wearing it. The mask appears to be made of a unique material that can mimic any texture, skin color, or pore size with remarkable accuracy. The mask retains these properties even when removed from its wearer's face. However, the mask cannot mimic non-human or non-animal faces, and the mimicry only works with reflections in mirrors.

Additional Information:
SCPA-EN-00046 was recovered from a small theater troupe in northern Italy after an incident in which an audience member was attacked with a knife. The suspect, who had been wearing SCPA-EN-00046, successfully evaded police and is still at large.
