Secure Containment Procedures

Item#: SCPA-EN-00029
Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures:
SCPA-EN-00029 is to be stored in a secure locker at Site-19. Only personnel with Level 3 clearance or higher are allowed access to SCPA-EN-00029. SCPA-EN-00029 is to be checked bi-weekly for damage or wear-and-tear. Testing of SCPA-EN-00029 is allowed only when granted permission by two Level 4 personnel or O5.

Description:
SCPA-EN-00029 is an antique pocket watch with a brass exterior that is 6cm in diameter and weighs 97g. When the watch reads 11 PM, it will then immediately reset itself to 8 AM of the same day. It does so approximately 2 seconds after striking 11 PM. "Same day" is in reference to the point of activation. Any time after activation that the watch is reset, the effect will apply to the new day the watch is indicating.

Any individual in possession of SCPA-EN-00029 during its activation period will be subject to the same day repeating until the activation period ends at 11 PM. This has an adverse effect on the individual's mental state, which can lead to various mental disorders if the loop continues for extended periods. The range of the activation effect has a radius of 50m from SCPA-EN-00029.

Any individual outside of SCPA-EN-00029's activation range will be unaware of the repeat during said activation period. It is also important to note that if the SCPA is damaged or if the individual's body is destroyed or otherwise removed from the activation range during the loop, the effect will be interrupted.

Additional Information:
SCPA-EN-00029's origins are unknown, but it was found in an antique store outside of [REDACTED], North Carolina. It's currently understood that this object is not capable of time travel, but rather creates a localized time loop in its immediate vicinity. It is recommended that further testing with SCPA-EN-00029 be approached with extreme caution, considering the possible psychological effects it has had on people in the past.
