Special Containment Procedures:
SCPA-EN-00114 is to be kept in a standard containment locker located in the main anomalous containment facility at Site-██. The containment locker must be equipped with a motion sensor and a closed-circuit television camera. The camera must be connected to the site's security network.

Access to SCPA-EN-00114 is restricted to personnel with Level 3 clearance or higher. All testing must be carried out in a Class D personnel interaction room.

Description:
SCPA-EN-00114 is a traditional Indonesian shadow puppet, of the wayang kulit type, named "Kresna." The puppet is 25 centimeters high and 10 centimeters wide. When held up to a light source, the puppet casts a shadow on any nearby surface, and a humanoid figure appears. This figure changes shape and appears to become a representation of the viewer's deepest fears and anxieties; SCPA-EN-00114 appears to be able to give shape to the viewer's own personal boogeyman.

SCPA-EN-00114 appears to be immune to physical damage, as well as damage from fire, water, and other hazardous materials. The only known way to destroy SCPA-EN-00114 is to expose it to bright light for an extended period of time, as it causes the puppet to deteriorate over time. It has no physical moving parts.

Additional Information:
The exact origin of SCPA-EN-00114 is unknown. According to the Foundation Document XX-MAY-1995, SCPA-EN-00114 was recovered from a house in a small village in Indonesia. Villagers were reportedly afraid of the puppet and had buried it in the house's storage.

Tests have shown that SCPA-EN-00114 does not affect individuals who have overcome or come to terms with their fears. Instead, individuals who have a clear sense of self-esteem and are assertive in nature can "control" the puppet and its effects.
