Special Containment Procedures:
SCPA-EN-00258 is to be contained in a standard humanoid containment cell at Site-██. The cell must be kept at a constant temperature of 22°C to prevent SCPA-EN-00258 from entering a dormant state. SCPA-EN-00258 must be fed daily with 3.6 kg of raw meat, which must be slid through a small slot in the door to its containment cell. Any instances of SCPA-EN-00258 found outside its containment cell must be immediately reported to security personnel and recontained.

Description:
SCPA-EN-00258 appears to be a large, amorphous mass of black tentacles that can move independently of each other. The tentacles range in length from 1 to 3 meters and are coated in a layer of some unknown substance that makes them resistant to conventional weaponry. SCPA-EN-00258 also has the ability to generate hallucinations in the minds of those who come into contact with it, usually causing a sensation of being swarmed by insects. The true appearance of SCPA-EN-00258 is unknown, as it only appears in a semi-corporeal form when it encounters biological matter. SCPA-EN-00258 appears to feed on organic matter, with a preference for flesh. It will coil its tentacles around its prey, dragging them towards its central mass where it will begin to feed on them.

SCPA-EN-00258 was recovered from a small town in rural ████████, after several reports of people going missing. Upon investigation, Foundation personnel discovered several partially consumed bodies, covered in SCPA-EN-00258's black substance. It is unknown how SCPA-EN-00258 came into existence, but several reports suggest that it was created by an anomalous event in the area. Further investigation is needed to determine the source of its anomalous properties.
