Description: SCPA-EN-00283 is a silver hand mirror with ornate carvings on the handle. SCPA-EN-00283's anomalous properties stem from the reflection seen when someone looks into the mirror. The reflection is not a true reflection of the individual, but rather a reflection of their darkest desires. The reflection will manipulate the individual into acting on these desires, often leading to dangerous or harmful actions.

SCPA-EN-00283 is capable of manipulating an individual's thoughts and actions, causing them to behave erratically and often violently. The effects of SCPA-EN-00283 can be mitigated through the use of hypnotic regression and intensive therapy once exposure to the object has been ceased. It appears that SCPA-EN-00283's effects are not limited to human subjects, as previous testing has shown it to affect other sapient beings as well.

Additional Information: SCPA-EN-00283 was discovered in the home of a serial killer, who had used the mirror to convince his victims to come to his residence. Upon being detained, the suspect expressed that he had been under the influence of the mirror and had been unable to resist its commands. Further investigation confirmed the anomalous properties of SCPA-EN-00283, leading to its acquisition by the Foundation.
