Special Containment Procedures:
SCPA-EN-00282 is to be contained within a hermetically sealed chamber, in a secure underground facility located in the Canadian Arctic. The walls, ceiling, and floor of the containment chamber must be fabricated from a minimum of twenty (20) meters of reinforced structural steel and insulated against all temperature or radiation variances.

The only entrance into the chamber must be through an airlock system that utilizes multiple layers of separation to control the environment within. The monitoring system for the airlock must be inspected and calibrated a minimum of one (1) time per hour.

The chamber must be equipped with remote-controlled drones that are able to access the interior of SCPA-EN-00282, and the AI systems of said drones must be capable of resisting any and all cognitohazardous effects that SCPA-EN-00282 may emit.

Additionally, all personnel who are approved for entry must undergo a pre-assessment examination and two (2) days of cognitive resiliency training. No fewer than two (2) personnel personnel are to be in the containment chamber at any given time.

In the event of any containment breach, all personnel are to evacuate to a secure, off-site location. Any and all attempts to re-secure containment are to follow only after the AI systems have certified the chamber as safe for human habitation.

Description:
SCPA-EN-00282 appears to be an imposing fortress constructed entirely out of ice, snow, and frozen human remains. SCPA-EN-00282 runs deep underground and possesses the ability to generate and manipulate intense and deadly blizzards within a three hundred (300) kilometer radius.

SCPA-EN-00282 emerges during the harsh winter months and unleashes its power upon the surrounding area. During this time, it attracts and neutralizes any personnel, vehicles, or aircraft that attempt to penetrate the weather around it. SCPA-EN-00282 has proven to be able to withstand all conventional methods of attack.

The interior of SCPA-EN-00282 is filled with creatures that appear to be humanoid but are made entirely of ice. These entities possess a high level of intelligence and utilize what appear to be communication and coordination methods that are foreign to humans.

Current scientific theories surrounding SCPA-EN-00282 suggest that it may be an extension of another SCPA object, comprised of previously believed non-sentient entities.

It is believed that SCPA-EN-00282 is the result of an experiment gone wrong, most likely originating from spacecraft debris that has collided on the planet's surface. The precise origin and mechanisms of operation remain unexplored.
