Description:
SCPA-EN-00056 is a pair of silver-colored earrings that each have a small dark blue crystal with a diameter of 1 cm hanging from them. The crystals emit ultrasonic waves similar to those used by bats for echolocation. The earrings are not affected by the loudness of surrounding sounds and can be activated and deactivated at will by the wearer by touching their earlobe.

When SCPA-EN-00056 is activated by a human, they gain the ability to perceive their surroundings as if they had echolocation. The wearer can perceive objects and personnel in the environment, including those that are not visible, but only within a radius of 20 meters around them. Personnel have reported no negative side effects when wearing SCPA-EN-00056, although extended use could cause ear fatigue and a potential increase in tinnitus.

SCPA-EN-00056 was first discovered when an online retailer began selling the earrings. Customers who purchased them reported that they could "perceive their surroundings in a new and exciting way" and left positive reviews. Foundation agents purchased the earrings and tested them, discovering their anomalous abilities.
