SCPA-EN-00188 is to be contained in a standard humanoid containment chamber at Site-██. Lighting in the chamber is to be maintained at a constant level of 150 lux or higher to discourage SCPA-00188 from summoning its shadow minions. All personnel entering SCPA-EN-00188's containment chamber must wear light-blocking goggles to prevent SCPA-EN-00188 from creating or controlling shadows.

Description:
SCPA-EN-00188 is an anomalous humanoid entity, standing approximately 2 meters tall and weighing 90 kilograms. SCPA-EN-00188 is capable of generating and controlling shadows, using them for various purposes such as transportation, defense, and offense. The entity appears to derive sustenance from shadows and is able to manipulate them to obscure its presence and movement.

SCPA-EN-00188 is also able to summon shadow minions from other beings' shadows. The minions bear a resemblance to SCPA-EN-00188 and are under its control. SCPA-EN-00188 uses these minions to aid in its escape attempts or to attack individuals it perceives as threats. SCPA-EN-00188 is capable of communicating with these minions telepathically.

SCPA-EN-00188's origins are currently unknown, and its behavior suggests that it may be sentient and possibly malicious.

SCPA-EN-00188 was recovered in ████████, Japan, after reports of unexplainable shadow phenomena in the area. SCPA-EN-00188 was discovered in a dilapidated temple surrounded by multiple shadow minions. Local police were incapacitated and amnesticized after encountering SCPA-EN-00188 and its minions.

SCPA-EN-00188 has demonstrated the ability to replicate itself by separating into multiple shadow forms, each with its own shadow minions. It is currently unknown how many times SCPA-EN-00188 can replicate itself or if there is a limit to how many shadow minions it can summon.
