SCPA-EN-00341 is to be kept in a standard anomalous objects locker at Site-19. Access to SCPA-EN-00341 requires Level 2 clearance and above. Testing involving SCPA-EN-00341 is to be conducted in a standard containment chamber only.

Description:
SCPA-EN-00341 is an ink pen with an anomalous property. SCPA-EN-00341 is capable of writing in any position, even when held upside down or at an angle that would cause ordinary pens to cease functioning. The pen's ink is a dark blue and behaves like typical pen ink. However, the anomalous properties of SCPA-EN-00341 extend to the written text itself. Any writing produced by SCPA-EN-00341 will display bizarre and often impossible properties.

For example, SCPA-EN-00341 has been used to create writing that disappears after a certain period of time, writing that moves across surfaces on its own, and writing that is only visible under certain conditions, such as when viewed through a red filter. Other tests have revealed that the ink produced by SCPA-EN-00341 can affect living organisms. When written on living flesh, SCPA-EN-00341's ink generates a burning sensation, and in some cases, has been known to leave permanent marks.

SCPA-EN-00341 behaves as a typical pen in all other respects. The pen has no visible identifying markings, and produces no anomalous effects while inactive.

Additional Information:
During initial testing, SCPA-EN-00341 was discovered in a box of office supplies, and seemed to have been an ordinary pen. However, the anomalous properties of SCPA-EN-00341 were discovered during an unrelated incident when a researcher used the pen to take notes during a meeting.

To date, experiments have not found a limit to the anomalous properties of SCPA-EN-00341, and the item's origin remains unknown.
