SCPA-EN-00204 is contained in a standard humanoid containment chamber at Site-19. The room must be kept dimly lit to avoid manifesting its abilities. No direct light should be allowed into the chamber at any time. SCPA-EN-00204 is allowed access to low-level lighting sources for its personal comfort, though it is not strictly required. Any personnel entering the chamber must use a light source that does not exceed 5 lux, and as such must be equipped with low-output red portable lanterns.

In the event that SCPA-EN-00204's shadow extends from its body, Foundation personnel must immediately isolate and observe the shadowed area. Any deep shadows that covet personnel should be thoroughly examined to ensure SCPA-EN-00204 has not manifested its abilities.

SCPA-EN-00204 has been equipped with a tracking device for monitoring its location and movements within Site-19.

Description:
SCPA-EN-00204, also known as "The Shadow Seeker", is a humanoid entity of indeterminate age and gender, standing at approximately 1.8 meters in height. It has a thin, lanky frame and textureless, charcoal-grey skin. SCPA-EN-00204 lacks eyes, ears, or a discernible nose, and has a small, slit-like mouth. Despite these features, it has demonstrated an ability to locate and move unerringly, either through echolocation or other currently unknown means.

SCPA-EN-00204's primary anomalous ability is the ability to penetrate and manipulate shadows. SCPA-EN-00204 has exhibited the ability to extend its shadow several meters beyond itself or to shift shadows it touches. By manipulating shadows, SCPA-EN-00204 can create openings for itself or create traps to ensnare others. In cases where the entity has manifested these abilities, its body must be kept under constant observation to prevent the emergence of new shadows, which may be used to breach security protocols.

SCPA-EN-00204 communicates through a series of clicks, whirs and quiet grunts that appear to facilitate its echolocation.

Additional Information:
SCPA-EN-00204 was recovered in 20██ wandering through a residential area of ████████ during a power outage. Local authorities contacted the Foundation after several people reported being trapped in their homes by unexplained shadow formations that seemed to have a will of their own. As Foundation containment teams closed in on SCPA-EN-00204, it shifted its shadow beneath it and vanished. Foundation agents were able to corner the entity in a nearby park, where it was subdued and transported to Site-19. Since then, SCPA-EN-00204 has manifested its abilities on ██ occasions, necessitating the relocation of several Foundation sites.
