Special Containment Procedures:
SCPA-EN-00023 must be kept in a hermetically sealed containment chamber to prevent any mixture with the outside air. The chamber must be equipped with an air supply and filtration system. A team of two personnel wearing Level D hazmat suits are to be present in the containment chamber at all times, except in the event of maintenance.
Outside of testing, personnel are not to acknowledge SCPA-EN-00023's existence.

Description:
SCPA-EN-00023 is a translucent, humanoid apparition approximately 2.5 meters in height. SCPA-EN-00023 appears as an ethereal, blurry figure that gives off a faint blue aura. SCPA-EN-00023 is capable of phasing through solid objects and seems to be unaffected by physical obstacles in its path. SCPA-EN-00023 moves erratically and appears to be in a constant state of agitation.

SCPA-EN-00023's most dangerous properties pertain to its ability to influence human perception directly. In its inactive state, SCPA-EN-00023 is nearly invisible to the human eye, and it will attempt to move out of the perceptions of personnel. During periods of activity, SCPA-EN-00023 can influence the perceptions of individuals, leading to disorientation and distress. This is believed to be used as a defense mechanism.

Additional Information:
SCPA-EN-00023 was recovered from the abandoned, [REDACTED] hospital in [REDACTED], United States. Surveillance footage at the site shows SCPA-EN-00023 approaching the camera, with subsequent footage showing a blur and audio distortions occurring. When discovered by Foundation personnel, SCPA-EN-00023 was visible to everyone in the vicinity, leading researchers to conclude it was intentionally revealing itself to provoke a response.
