Special Containment Procedures:
SCPA-EN-00136 is to be contained in a 5m x 5m x 5m reinforced steel containment unit with a Faraday cage lining. The unit must also be fitted with an incendiary device which can be triggered remotely in case of a containment breach. The unit should be suspended on magnetic levitation platforms, to prevent any contact with its surroundings. An armed guard must monitor the containment unit 24/7, viewing SCPA-EN-00136 solely through a video feed.

Any personnel who come into contact with SCPA-EN-00136 should wear fully-enclosed hazmat suits unaffected by electromagnetism or heat.

All interactions with SCPA-EN-00136 must be recorded in detail for research and archival purposes. Equipment used must be analyzed and cleared for contamination afterwards.

The research team currently assigned to SCPA-EN-00136 must also regularly undergo psychiatric evaluations and be kept distant from electromagnetic fields.

Description:
SCPA-EN-00136 is a black, ovoid object measuring 0.3 meters in diameter. SCPA-EN-00136 gives off electromagnetic radiation in all forms, emitting a range of low-level frequencies, including all those generated by electronic equipment. SCPA-EN-00136 is capable of moving through any existing solid material, and seems to do so across an alternate dimensional space.

SCPA-EN-00136's central function is its capacity to actively infect organic lifeforms by attaching to their nervous systems. Once an organism is infected, SCPA-EN-00136 can generate shifts in its size, shape and colour, as well as causing mutations to their morphology. SCPA-EN-00136 can also generate changes in the DNA and RNA of the host, such that their cellular structure and operational processes become unrecognisable. This may be the primary factor in SCPA-EN-00136's abilities to infiltrate alternate dimensional spaces.

SCPA-EN-00136's method of feeding appears to include the destruction of a host's metabolic and biological processes, resulting in the production of a black plasma. SCPA-EN-00136 seems to then absorb this plasma for sustenance, resulting in explosive growth.

Additional Information:
SCPA-EN-00136 was discovered by the Foundation in a small rural village on the edge of Tasmania after numerous reports of unexplained biological abnormalities. Serological studies showed that SCPA-EN-00136 had previously infected the entire village, with the majority of inhabitants losing innate reflex responses and physical capabilities due to alterations of their neural and cranial structures.

Some key observations from testing include the fact that SCPA-EN-00136's infestation seems to begin in the nervous system, causing a host's motor functions to deteriorate quickly. In addition, SCPA-EN-00136 appears to be incredibly adaptable, generating a new tactic or mutation to best suit the host it is presently infecting.
