Special Containment Procedures:

SCPA-EN-00035 must be kept inside a Faraday cage located in a standard containment cell at Site-██. This cell must be equipped with full-spectrum infrared lighting and an opaque partition that runs the length of one wall to prevent visual contact with SCPA-EN-00035. No personnel may enter SCPA-EN-00035’s containment area unless absolutely necessary for testing or maintenance purposes, and only two personnel at a time may be present. All personnel must wear protective gear such as earplugs or noise-canceling headphones to minimize the risk of exposure to SCPA-EN-00035's anomalous effect.

Description:

SCPA-EN-00035 is a black cube, measuring 10 cm on all sides, with a brushed titanium finish. The object appears to be inert until it is exposed to sound, after which it begins to emit a loud, high-pitched whine accompanied by a buildup of static electricity in the surrounding area. When exposed to sounds ranging from 35 to 100 decibels, SCPA-EN-00035 increases the level of static electricity in its vicinity, to the point where the electricity manifests in the form of a translucent, humanoid figure composed entirely of static, referred to as SCPA-EN-00035-1.

The entity exhibits highly aggressive behavior, attacking anything within its range of influence if it considers them to be a source of the sound that caused its manifestation. SCPA-EN-00035-1 has no visible facial features or organs, and is incapable of speech or independent movement; it moves by vibrating rapidly in place, and can apply mild electrical shocks to those that come into contact with it. SCPA-EN-00035-1 will vanish once the sound stimulus has stopped, or after it has killed its target.

Additional Information:

Through experimentation, researchers have found that SCPA-EN-00035-1 is immune to physical damage, electrocution, and is impervious to all forms of energy-based weaponry. They have also discovered that SCPA-EN-00035 can be deactivated by exposing it to sound waves at a frequency of precisely 110 dB.
