Special Containment Procedures:
SCPA-EN-00231 is to be contained in a standard humanoid containment cell at Site-███. SCPA-EN-00231 must be observed by at least one security personnel with Level 2 clearance at all times. Any instances of SCPA-EN-00231-A must be contained in a 5m x 5m x 5m steel containment chamber in a separate wing of Site-███. The chamber must have no lighting or any light sources, and be equipped with a monitor that displays a live video feed of SCPA-EN-00231-A's containment chamber.

Description:
SCPA-EN-00231 is a humanoid entity, measuring 1.78m in height, with a slim frame, and fluorescent green eyes. SCPA-EN-00231 has long, black hair, and is often seen wearing a black leather jacket and jeans. SCPA-EN-00231 has the ability to collect and store shadows, which it keeps in a glass jar around its neck.

SCPA-EN-00231’s ability to collect shadows extends to human subjects, and requires direct contact with the subject. When SCPA-EN-00231 takes a shadow, the subject becomes an instance of SCPA-EN-00231-A. SCPA-EN-00231-A's shadow is removed entirely, resulting in SCPA-EN-00231-A being unable to cast a shadow of their own.

SCPA-EN-00231-A is void of all shadows and appears as a black silhouette on a white background. Upon initial containment, SCPA-EN-00231-A experiences symptoms of paranoia and a strong desire to retrieve their shadow. In addition, SCPA-EN-00231-A shows increased aggression when its shadow is mentioned or when SCPA-EN-00231 is in sight. SCPA-EN-00231-A is to be considered hostile and is not safe for human interaction.

Additional Information:
SCPA-EN-00231 was initially brought to the Foundation's attention when a small town in the Pacific Northwest experienced a significant decrease in natural shadows. A team of researchers discovered SCPA-EN-00231 in a local diner, tending to a collection of 11 jars filled with shadows. SCPA-EN-00231 was subdued with tranquilizers and brought to Site-███.

SCPA-EN-00231 has displayed a cheeky, nonchalant attitude in response to questioning and observation. SCPA-EN-00231 has disclosed very minimal information but has stated that it has been collecting shadows for quite some time and keeping them safe.
