When a human subject looks at SCPA-EN-00138 while it is open, they are able to recall a significant memory associated with the object or photo held within the locket, even if the memory had previously been forgotten or repressed.

The memories recalled by SCPA-EN-00138 are always positive in nature and seem to evoke feelings of happiness or nostalgia in the subject. Furthermore, individuals who interact with SCPA-EN-00138 are able to remember the details of the memory with great clarity, and recall the feelings associated with it as if it had just happened.
