Special Containment Procedures:
SCPA-EN-00144 is to be contained in a standard humanoid containment cell located within Site-██. The containment cell must be equipped with a one-way mirror to allow for routine observation by on-site personnel. SCPA-EN-00144 is not to be allowed outside of its containment cell unless accompanied by at least two armed security personnel. SCPA-EN-00144's cell is to be kept lit at all times, and must not be allowed to be in darkness. SCPA-EN-00144 is to be provided a bed and other basic amenities, and is allowed to have a small selection of books to read for recreational purposes.

Description:
SCPA-EN-00144 is a humanoid entity that appears to be composed entirely of a seemingly sentient, inky black substance. SCPA-EN-00144's body is malleable and can change its shape at will. Attempts at physical contact have shown that SCPA-EN-00144's body is not cohesive, and is able to break apart, move around and come back together at will. SCPA-EN-00144 appears to be able to control shadows, and can use them to move from place to place.

In addition, SCPA-EN-00144 has the ability to create shadow constructs, which are fully functional, yet non-living, replicas of anything SCPA-EN-00144 is able to perceive. These constructs are created by SCPA-EN-00144 pulling shadow energy from nearby light sources, transforming the shadow into a tangible object. SCPA-EN-00144 can create multiple shadow constructs at once, and the size of each construct is determined by the amount of available shadow energy. SCPA-EN-00144 is able to maintain control of these constructs from a distance of up to ██ meters, and their duration is dependent on the amount of shadow energy used in the creation.

Further testing has shown that SCPA-EN-00144 is capable of using its shadow constructs to create entirely new entities, made up of its own shadow matter, as long as it has enough shadow energy to convert.

While SCPA-EN-00144's goals and reasons for creating shadow constructs is unknown, it has not shown any hostility towards Foundation personnel. SCPA-EN-00144 is generally cooperative with on-site personnel, but appears to be introverted and prefers to keep to itself.

Additional Information:
During testing, SCPA-EN-00144 displayed an ability to create copies of living human beings, including Foundation personnel. These copies were fully functional, yet non-living, and were created using the same process by which SCPA-EN-00144 creates its shadow constructs. SCPA-EN-00144 was instructed to not create any more copies of living human beings, and the copies that were created were immediately destroyed following testing. SCPA-EN-00144 has not attempted to create any more copies since then.
