Description:
SCPA-EN-00285 is an antique mirror with dimensions of ███ cm x ███ cm x ██ cm. The surface of SCPA-EN-00285 does not reflect light, appearing as a black void. However, when a human subject stands in front of the mirror, their physical expression is reflected as a silhouette made up of what appear to be black tendrils, distinct from the subject's actual physical appearance.

SCPA-00285-1, designated as the entity reflected in SCPA-EN-00285, appears to be a sentient being that manifests within the mirror when a human subject is reflected. SCPA-00285-1 constantly mimics the movements of the subject in the mirror, even mirroring any vocalizations made by the subject.

SCPA-00285-2, designated as the effect observed when an individual engages with SCPA-EN-00285, is a subtler transformation of the individual. Over time, the individual will begin to develop a self-image more and more similar to their reflection in SCPA-EN-00285. This begins with adopting postures or facial expressions seen in the reflection, but can escalate to the individual having difficulty recognizing their own reflection in a standard mirror. In severe cases, the individual may become delusional, perceiving themselves in the likeness of SCPA-00285-1.

Additional Information:
SCPA-00285 was discovered in an abandoned antique store in the UK. Foundation agents in the area noted that the store's prior owner had passed away, and his estate was being cleared out. The Foundation was contacted by local law enforcement who reported strange activity when they attempted to remove the mirror from the store.

SCPA-00285's anomalous properties were first discovered through accidental exposure to local residents who were in the process of cleaning and restoring the mirror. The Foundation was alerted and the mirror was recovered by Foundation agents for further study.

Attempts to communicate with SCPA-00285-1 have proven unsuccessful. The only activity observed within the mirror is perpetual mirroring of the actions and vocalizations of the human subjects reflected in it.
