Special Containment Procedures:
Due to the incorporeal nature of SCPA-EN-00270, physical containment is impossible. Description:
SCPA-EN-00270 is a "phantom broadcast," a signal that can be received on any electronic device capable of receiving audio or visual messages, such as radios, televisions, computers, and telephones. The signal displays and plays video and audio of a man introducing himself as "The Caretaker" and informing the listener that they have been "chosen" to help him care for "the colors." The man urges the listener to respond by going to a specific location, which changes with every broadcast.

When someone responds to the broadcast, they are seemingly transported to an unknown location, commonly described as a nightmare realm. Subjects vary in their descriptions of this place, but all agree that they are completely alone and devoid of any senses, except for their sight. Subjects report seeing colors that are impossible to describe, and they experience intense sensations of fear and isolation.

The effects of SCPA-EN-00270 vary depending on the individual's mental state and susceptibility to suggestion. Some subjects have reported only experiencing the broadcast, with no ill effects. Others have shown signs of mental degradation, including hallucinations, nightmares, and in extreme cases, a complete loss of their senses.

Additional Information:
SCPA-EN-00270 was first detected when several people disappeared after responding to the broadcast. Foundation agents were able to track the signal to its source, but found only abandoned buildings and no trace of the responsible party. Further investigation into the origin of SCPA-EN-00270 is ongoing.
