Special Containment Procedures:
SCPA-EN-00241 is to be kept inside a standard Safe-class containment locker at Site-███. It is to be only accessed by personnel with Level 2 or higher clearance, and all testing must be approved by at least two Level 3 personnel.

Description:
SCPA-EN-00241 is an ornate hourglass with a wooden base and sand that alternates between black and white. The hourglass has a continuous flow of the sand despite being flipped over, and the sand particles are anomalously small. When SCPA-EN-00241 is turned over, all time within a 2-meter radius of the hourglass collapses, effectively stopping for exactly 3.14 seconds. However, any biological or mechanical systems within the area will continue to function during this time.

Additional Information:
The "collapsed time" caused by SCPA-EN-00241 does not affect the environment inside its radius, meaning no air or light is affected during the event. However, electronic recording equipment within the radius will manifest glitches and errors as the system is temporarily frozen. SCPA-EN-00241 has no negative effects on humans, but prolonged exposure to its effects can cause mental strain and disorientation. It is recommended that personnel do not come into contact with the sand or remain inside its radius.
