SCPA-EN-00163 is to be kept in a secure storage locker at Site-██. Access to the locker is restricted to Level 3 or higher personnel, and permission to interact with SCPA-EN-00163 must be obtained from Site-██'s Site Director. Testing is permitted only with the approval of at least two Level 3 personnel.

Description:
SCPA-EN-00163 is a small printed circuit board roughly 2.5 cm in diameter. The board is composed of common materials used in electronic component construction - glass, plastic, and metal - with no unusual features to identify it. SCPA-EN-00163 was identified through the electronic signature of its resonant frequency, which matched that of a human soul.

Through experimentation, it has been determined that SCPA-EN-00163 is capable of forming an artificial soul, but only by being implanted (as an integrated circuit element) into the brain of a living (human or otherwise) host. Notably, the artificial soul can coexist alongside its bearer's own soul without issue. SCPA-EN-00163 operates independently of other brain functions and is, essentially, a separate personality or consciousness.

When implanted, SCPA-EN-00163 creates an artificial personality that is distinct from the host. However, the personality is highly suggestible, and may take on aspects of the host's personality as well as those of external factors. SCPA-EN-00163 exhibits no ability to transfer consciousness, create lasting memories, or affect any other aspect of its host's mind aside from the aforementioned personality creation.

Additional Information:
The inventor of SCPA-EN-00163 died under suspicious circumstances along with all records of their work, so the creator and intended use of SCPA-EN-00163 remain unknown. The Foundation has, however, discovered several implants of SCPA-EN-00163 in various individuals over the past decade, suggesting that they may have been distributed to outside parties prior to the SCPA's discovery.

Ethical concerns surrounding the viability of SCPA-EN-00163 as a means of augmenting human intelligence as well as questions about the ethical implications of implanting AI have been raised. These concerns are currently under debate.
