Special Containment Procedures:
SCPA-EN-00134 is to be contained in a reinforced steel chamber measuring 5m x 5m x 5m. The chamber is to be located in Site-34 and under surveillance at all times by at least two (2) security personnel. SCPA-EN-00134 must be kept in a stable temperature of 20-25°C, and humidity levels must be maintained at 60-75%. The chamber must be tested for structural integrity prior to containment. All personnel assigned to SCPA-EN-00134 must undergo monthly psychological evaluations. In the event of a containment breach, a Level 3 or higher containment response team must be deployed immediately to recontain SCPA-EN-00134.

Description:
SCPA-EN-00134 is a swarm of small, genetically modified insects roughly the size of a grain of rice. They appear to be a hybridization between several species of ants and beetles. SCPA-EN-00134 exhibits an anomalous ability that allows it to infest the human body and rewrite portions of the host's long-term memory to serve the colony's needs. SCPA-EN-00134 is attracted to humans who display exceptional memory recall since their memories will be more useful to the colony. The insects only infest a human host when they are in close proximity of approximately 1 meter.

To infest a host, SCPA-EN-00134 enters the target through the eyes, nose, mouth, or ears before making their way to the brain's hippocampus. Once inside, the insects release a chemical cocktail that alters the host's long-term memory, with the produced effect that the host will remember the location of SCPA-EN-00134, which remains dormant in the brain, waiting for the colony to call upon it.

Additional Information:
SCPA-EN-00134 has been shown to grow more aggressive, predictable, and adaptable as the swarm becomes more populous. It is capable of altering hosts' memories to improve its survivability, and it has developed strategies to limit the potential for its hosts to be cured. Since SCPA-EN-00134's discovery, three researchers and two D-class personnel have been changed into hosts. The researchers have been in permanent isolation since that incident.
